Jessica Kent, LMT + RYT

Jessica Kent is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor and Owner of Embody Massage & Yoga which opened for business in November 2012. Prior to launching Embody, Jessica honed her massage therapy skills at Beauty Mark Spa in Camden, Maine—where she was included in Maine Magazine’s Massage Therapy A-List. Jessica graduated from the Namasté Institute School of Massage in Portland, Maine. She is also a graduate of Shiva Shakti School of Yoga's first class of certified yoga instructors.

Jessica specializes in deep tissue massage, relaxation techniques, and body treatments and is certified in Mother Massage, Thai Yoga Bodywork, and Reiki. She has also studied Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian massage) and deep tissue training with Thomas Myers, Author of Anatomy Trains.

Jessica grew up lakeside in New Hampshire with her parents, two younger sisters and a Springer Spaniel, Molly—whom she would massage to help her move with more ease in her later years. She now volunteers with PAWS Adoption Center providing chair massage and gift certificates to their fundraisers. Jessica studied Behavioral Science at Green Mountain College where she developed an interest in food as means to both create and sustain health and community. She loves sleeping in, drinking coffee and wine, eating chocolate and kale (although not necessarily together) and laughing at anything ridiculous. Jessica currently lives in Camden, Maine with her Sheltie, Bibi.

Habibi Rock and Roll Kent

Habibi Rock and Roll Kent (Bibi) is a five year old Sheltie, born on Valentine’s Day. Bibi is a lover, not a fighter and will rip up the whole house if you leave NPR on during the day. She is the regulator at the dog park, if not a tattletale, preferring to bark at other pups playing rather than joining in. Bibi strongly believes life should consist of eating, belly rubs, playing, eating and more belly rubs.
